Maggie Cary is an educator and writer who has worked as a designer and consultant of children’s educational products. She holds a Master’s Degree and National Board Certification in Early Childhood Education, and has formal training and experience in theatre and speech. Her vast experience with young children gives her a unique perspective concerning what they want to read. Maggie’s mastery as a teacher of reading and her theater and speech background have enabled her to become a gifted storyteller who has developed grade level appropriate stories for early and intermediate readers. Maggie is the mother of two young adults and resides in Boca Raton, Florida with her husband and Labrador Retriever, Jean Louise Finch (aka “Scout”). She’s the author of Secrets of the Crystal Cavern, a novel intended for elementary school children.
